PDQ Manufacturing Teams with Dino Stop Convenience Store Chain to Provide Advanced Car Wash Technology for Local Green Bay Consumers

Two local companies are committed to working together to benefit each organization while also helping grow the economy of the Green Bay area. PDQ Manufacturing, Inc., an industry-leading manufacturer of in-bay automatic vehicle-wash systems, and Dino Stop a gas station and convenience store first opened in Green Bay in 1971, are working together to supply Dino Stop with cutting edge car wash systems, affectionately known at the gas station as the “Dino Wash.”
Dino Stop, which has been a staple of the Northern Wisconsin area for over 45 years, has 6 different gas station locations, each of which have car wash systems included. While the company had used other car wash system providers in the past, the company recently decided to shift to PDQ as its sole wash system provider, citing technological advancements and the opportunity to work with another local organization.
Car washes are a growing segment in the convenience store and gas station markets, and Dino Stop was an early adopter of the technology. However, they had not always worked with PDQ. But after looking to upgrade their systems, Dino Stop President and Owner, Tony Wied, decided to work exclusively with PDQ Manufacturing. “The opportunity to work with another local company was a driving factor in this move, because the men and women who build these systems are our neighbors,” says Wied. “Once I got to know PDQ and see their systems in action, I became a believer in the quality of their products as well. The technology and customer service they provide is unmatched by their competition.
The relationship has proven beneficial for PDQ, as well. The car wash manufacturer is able to test innovative, prototype products at Dino Stop’s locations, which also serve as a platform for demonstrating PDQ wash systems in a live environment. “Our relationship with Dino Stop has allowed us to test our newest technology in real world situations, and also demonstrate our wash systems for potential partners,” says Dave Dougherty, Senior Product Manager at PDQ, Inc. “Tony and the entire Dino Stop Team are great about giving us feedback on the products they use, and through these informative insights, we are able to create the best product for their needs and the needs of all of our customers.”
